1981 - 2023
OUR RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS
- In 2019, The Bowling Hôtel in Signy-Avenex (Canton of Vaud), a hybrid establishment comprising a 60-room hotel, a conference center, a restaurant with terrace, a leisure center with 18-lane bowling alley, arcade games and cocktail bar, and covered parking.
- In 2019, The Bowling Balexert in the Centre Commercial de Balexert (Canton of Geneva) with 16 lanes, billiards area, arcade and virtual reality games, a 140-seat Diners-style restaurant with patio terrace, two bar-snacks, and conference rooms.
- In 2002, the Bowling de la Praille in the Centre Commercial de la Praille (Canton of Geneva) with 26 lanes, billiards area, table tennis, arcade games, bar-snacks.
- 2002 saw the opening of Bowling de Muntelier in Murten (Canton Fribourg), with 24 lanes, a mezzanine billiards area, arcade games, table tennis, pizzeria and snack bar.
An era of passion preceded the realization of several centers in different types of locations in Switzerland, such as..:
- 2001/2002 in Sévaz (Canton of Fribourg) 20-lane bowling alley, adjacent to tennis centers
- 2003 Château d'Oex (Canton of Vaud) 12-lane bowling alley under a skating rink
- 2000 in Zermatt (Canton of Valais) 2-lane bowling alley in the Grand Hotel facing the Matterhorn
- 2000 in Montana (Canton of Valais) 4-lane bowling alley
- In 2000 in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Canton of Neuchâtel), 18-lane bowling alley adjoining tennis centers
- 1998 in Basel (Canton of Basel) 16-lane bowling alley
The start of the BOWLING SWITZERLAND INC. adventure. began by taking over existing leisure centers in the canton of Geneva:
- Meyrin (12 runways) taken over in 1983 and closed in 2018
- Thônex (18 runs) taken over in 1981 and closed in 2012
Most are strategically located – Muntelier and Sévaz, for example, are close to freeway exits. Some, like Château d’Oex, focus more on tourism, while others, like Basel, naturally benefit from their city-center location.
